Every year, thousands of Canadian kids leave organized soccer for reasons that have nothing to do with ability. Fees, gear, travel, the quiet cost of staying in the game. PlayerFocus Foundation exists so that a family's income is never the reason a player's development stops.
Access
Scholarships that cover full-season fees for families who can't pay — no forms that ask them to prove it twice.
Gear
Boots, balls, and kit for kids who would otherwise skip training because their cleats don't fit anymore.
Coaching
Stipends for underserved programs so they can retain qualified coaches — not just rotate volunteers.

Competitive youth soccer in Canada can run two to five thousand dollars a season before gear, tournaments, or travel. For a family with two kids and a single income, it's often the first line item cut. The kids who leave aren't the ones who stopped improving — they're the ones whose families ran out of runway.
PlayerFocus spends its days helping clubs show families that their children are developing. The Foundation exists for the families who never get to that page — because the sign-up form already priced them out.
What we fund

We stay narrow on purpose. Fewer programs, more impact per dollar, direct relationships with the clubs and families we support.
Camp Scholarships
Full tuition for twenty kids to attend a partner club summer camp — coaches, gear, and family follow-through included.
Club Partner Fund
We match families who need help with partner clubs that hold scholarship spots. No bureaucracy between the kid and the pitch.
Coach Development Grants
Underwrite coaching education for volunteer coaches in low-resource programs — so the kids who can't pay still get qualified instruction.
